About Our Founder
Flow South Media was founded by Joshua Burnett Thorburn, who built the business from the ground up and continues to lead it as director and driving force.
With a strong foundation in photography and videography, Josh brings both technical expertise and creative vision to every project. He also holds UAS (drone aviation) licences in both South Africa and the European Union.
Josh’s creative approach is deeply influenced by his passion for the outdoors, extreme sports, and capturing content in challenging environments — bringing a dynamic, authentic edge to every production.
